Harmonized Electric Vehicle
Safety Competence – Worldwide.
UNEVSA connects training centers, industry and authorities to common Global Training Program (GTP) for electric vehicle safety (EVS). One structure, transparent levels, internationally comparable competence.
UNEVSA is establishing a global, independent framework that sets clear and consistent standards for HV training providers – ensuring reliability, safety, and quality across all regions and markets.

What is UNEVSA?
UNEVSA (United Electric Vehicle Safety Association) is an international, non-profit association, dedicated to harmonizing electric vehicle safety training and competence.
The Global Training Program (GTP)
The GTP is a competence-based framework for HV safety training. It defines levels, roles and learning outcomes – not single course, but a structure that training centers can implement. Its structure is consistent worldwide, while the technical content adapts to the specific vehicle category.
The foundation of GTP is not a construction standard for how vehicles or machines are built, but a safety standard for how people are protected from the effects of electric current. For this reason, we do not refer to “High Voltage” as a universal term.
Instead, we use the broader concept of “Hazardous Voltages” when addressing electrical risks across all vehicle and machinery categories.
